Your Colors Run
Im burning.
Im burning.
Im burning these memories of you.
As the ashes rise towards the heavens so do my dreams.
Who needs them anyway when theyre nothing but overstatements and lies?
Youve shown your true colors.
Colors I havent wanted to see.
They change with the weather and run with your mascara.
Just like the color of your hair, youre not who you pretend to be.
What are you hiding?
I have a feeling its more than your roots.
I dont know what you had to gain
but I can tell you what youve lost
and its more than your mind.
Youre a conflicted little girl and I can see right through you.
Maybe you should figure out who you are
and what you want
before you start making demands on others lives.
Why should I feel so small when youre the one who is coming up short?
I see to you its all a game.
Well, this is what Ive found:
You cant lose a game you dont play.
So I forfeit and Ill see you around.

Your emotion runs throughout this I like that.
Yes at times we need to let people go who are hurting our soul and wellbeing as hard as it may be. A strong good write.
