Petty People

Petty People - Sarcastic Poetry

I hate petty people
They kind of make me sulk
As if the world really needs
All that extra bulk

I hate the way they go on
And the way they stare at you
You'd really think these petty folk
Would have better things to do

They bring up finished arguments
They drag things from the past
And they'll all do what they can
To make the bitterness last

They'll screen their calls for ages
They'll scowl when you walk by
They respond to everything you say
By making sure they *sigh*

They kick you when you've fallen
They mock you when you're down
They blame you for everything
From dawn til the sun goes down

So if you're a petty person
mumbling insults under a cough
Just do us all a favour
Turn around and just sod off!

Brilliant end. Flows well, which I have found can by quite difficult in a humorous poem. WOW. Loved it. Its what I think.

I really really like this poem. I really like the way you dish it out; the rhyme scheme, the flow, the end; basically everything.

Nicely done.

Thank you for an enjoyable read.

Tim
