What was my mistake, I want to know, Did I deserve such a punishing blow? My heart is torn into a million pieces, They say there arent enough stitches.
I have felt the pain, one cannot imagine, Oh, the absolute hell Im in, Each day is like a thousand billion years, As the ultimate relief of death nears.
One such day my eyes fall on your picture, The flood of emotions puts me in rapture, My weakened heart starts violently shaking, Im thrown to the days of our loving.
To you I had so much love to give, The love you were so happy to receive, You were the sunshine to my flower, You were the love, I the lover.
So heavenly was your sweet embrace, I could feel our pulsating hearts race, Now there is only one lonely beat, Its listless sound, hauntingly repeats.
