Drowning In The Snow

This feels so far from where I want to be Someone in the mirror staring back at me And the stars have grown silent now Since my sunshine faded to snow
Something heard in silence In prayers to the past Yearning for that stillness In an angel's moonlit countenance
Always so perfect to us The way you'd never see In the poems that you flow A way that you could speak
He always used to hurt You always used to cry So many nights spent trying But somethings never work
