She sat down lonely
Her look sad and homely
Her eyes dull and listless
As she waited for her first kiss
The years flew by and still goodbye
Was something she's heard before
Her heart was dull
Her mind was full
Of little sad tidings
Her notebook full of little sad writings
She cried and cried so sad and blue
She missed him terrible; what to do
Gone as fast as fast can be
She sat alone in their little tree
Sad as Sad as Sad can be
