The scene around is Sad,
No one knew it would be this Bad.
Desolate Wasteland,
I look around and see nothing but Sand.
This is my "Paradise",
This is my Life,
Its not Perfect,
Its filled with Strife.
Paradise is Lost,
At least it is to Me,
Many people want Peace,
No matter the Cost.
I just want to be Happy,
So my Soul can be Free.
Desert surrounds my Spot,
I look at the Sun and its getting Hot.
This is my Paradise,
This is my Life,
But I take one day at a Time.
Everyday I resist the Knife,
And write one more Line.
I take one more Look,
And close my Eyes,
I close the Book,
And end my Life.
