Christmas lights and wishing wells
Blessings that love does give
Timeless stories shared about
A tug on my heartstrings
The lights are on
With the power gone
The all knowing
Comes from within
A gift of life
A learned device
Or a knowing
Because it is
And still a movement we do make
Actions louder than words
Smiling faces as they see
The love a family brings
Just a blessing or a gift
A story long gone
A search in the years that come
The cycle that goes on and on!
