Never Looked Back

You never looked back, As you walked away, Your shoulders a lined, Your back spread out, And your head set straight,
You never looked back, At the women that waits for you, That longs only for your touch, Your smile, your kind word, She stands unwilling to leave,
You never looked back, The car waits her arrival, And is still frozen inside, But she stands not daring to breath, Her heart unable to beat,
You never looked back, Just waiting to see you again, Just wanting to hold you through tick and thin, Just wishing you could stay, Just wondering at your cold heart,
But you never looked back, Maybe never cared, Gone now, perhaps forever, Yet she remains, unwilling to move, Waiting, wanting, wishing, hoping and praying, That someday you will look back and smile.

Another peice of perfection, not to mention such straight foward presentation. So much hurt yet so much compassion. Very lovely work.
