death walking

Contributed by Daydreamer on Wednesday, 27th December 2006 @ 12:03:35 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I'm a crazy girl with an anger problem....
I have my ghosts tormented by the goblins
They come to play with my every emotion
Leaving my heart to drown with no flotation

Im dieing to break free from these ropes
Nothing to look forward to but my decaying hopes
Im dieing inside more with each passing day
My emotions never show or they delay

If I stab someone, how many times till I feel remorse
You walk by me but never take notice unless its forced
Every time I see an old face I'm sorry I'm sad ...
I'm sorry I'm bad and made you get really mad

I didn't mean to hurt anyone I just need space.
I dont need you or anyone else to get in my face
I need to bleed to feel alive.
I'm sorry I let myself die inside...

I'm sorry I hurt you anyway that I have
Its been along time since Ive had a good laugh
I'm sorry I'm loosing grip with my life
Your love has two sides like my kitchen knife

I'm sorry I won't reach out for your hand when Im lost.
You just dont understand what that could cost

Did you know four months ago my spirit died
Can a body go on with a rotted spirit inside
Or will it contaminate the body making it live a wreck
An empty corpse walking among you earning its pay-check

As it takes everything down in its path to eternal rest
I'm a shadow walker now praying on the pain that has me obsessed
The pain that lingers in the faces of the men Ive encountered
Bring them to a new level of lust that they have hungered

At the moment they feel immortal and in powered
I push them over the edge and watch them coward
They fall so hard the pain indents itself past the flesh
I only stick around till they are as useful as a broken dish

The depth of emotion and honesty is staggering. Nicely done.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
