I dream I dreamt of you today
While something burned and bled away
Guess that's just the way it goes
When all the stars are dead

And another day has burned away
So I'm left standing in the rain
Always screaming out in vain
Someone take away this pain

You always had to push me down
Why would you do that?
Did you like it?
It keeps coming back around

I heard it all today
But it just gets washed away
The tears I cried the same
Just to hide away your shame
