The Story

Contributed by metalguitarist on Thursday, 28th December 2006 @ 10:41:03 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I take these words written in stone
Why cant everyone just leave me alone
I want to be by myself but you wont go away
So Ill tell you the story since you want to stay

I came in and saw you on the ground
There was a puddle of blood all around
I screamed I cried I couldnt believe
What I was seeing with my own two eyes

Everynight this thought comes to mind
I try to assure myself everythings fine
But I know everythings not ok
Because this thought of you comes everyday
Im drowning in this thought of death
Ill tell you the story with one last breath

The next few days I cried and mourned
I saw the knife sitting in my dorm
I need to see feel you be with you
Just hearing your voice one more time
Would save me from saying this final line
I take this knife to my wrist
This tell you the story with this final kiss
