we're told its not enough
they decide what your best effort is
in the confusion of finding yourself
all that was prescious is lost
a void is formed in your heart
in the back of your mind you hide your regret
is it real or a passing feeling
do you live for today
or rather fix the mistakes of yesterday
what seems so trivial consumes you
your own mountain to conquer
the Everest of your emotions
