The stars in the sky watched As the shadows of the street stole my heart. An empty feeling is all thats left, you the thief that tore me apart
I will wait to see the light for God or angels to make it right. Were you a phantom, or a spirit in the night?
A reaper, my heart withdrew, He holds my love, my soul keeper.

Actually, yes, you are a poet, writing from the heart. A poet is not one who uses words, persay, but one who words use. They flow from you, you don't try to twist them this way or that to fit, they just fit where they do, and they do it beautifully.
A very, very good first post. I mean, the fact that you start off with stars watching is beauty in itself. Anyway, I love your work, and I've only read two, so I need to read more.
Take care,
David |
