Starlight in her eyes
No longer of this earth
She searches the skies
To find her true worth
For somewhere beyond
Is what life should be about
And she looks to the dawn
With a heart that shouts
Peace we need now
Not greed and pettiness
But she wonders how
When all is madness
So to the forest she flees
Amongst her animal friends
Where her spirit flies free
Until the craziness ends

This poem makes me think of
a quest for internal happiness.
Great use of symbolism. I like
the common theme of “magic”
and fantasy in your poems. It
gives your poetry a personal
touch. Excellent write
