only
the elegant trees,
could offer such beauty,
as they sit gracefully
on their branches,
only
the open skies,
could relinquish
space enough,
for their
glorious free flight,
only
the bottomless ocean,
moved by the loving moon,
could be the inspiration
as their guiding light,
calling them home
from the darkness,
only
a warped boy
like you,
that awakened
a warped girl
like me,
from the deepest of sleep,
could echo
their presence
as they fly by,
and touch,
in my most
sacred of spots

| good use of concrete imagery. Most importantly, the poem flows, which I believe is very important for a poem, its ability to flow like honey. |
