Did they deserve the shame inside
The gilt and pain they came to feel
Were they wrong, were they cowards
Or was it their right to choose?
So hand me your white feather
And I'll place it in my lapel
Because if your the type to put me down
It's no shame at all

I really didn't follow this poem to well.But I understood it enough. It's a good poem and the parts I did get are true.
