You trust them so completely
Showed you had nothing to hide
But they are still so unconvinced
After everything you've tried.
There will never be a way to know
Forever impossible to prove,
The motives of your heart,
And any attempts will always lose.
If there was a way to read your heart,
If all they needed was a secret key...
You would give it to them freely,
So that they would finally see.
They would read on forever
Because your heart has so much to say
About how it beats for only them
And that you're forever here to stay.
And they would be left simply fascinated
By all there was to read
And you wish the secret key existed
So all their insecurities could be freed.
But alas in this everyday existance,
Such a relief does not exist.
If you only wonder what might happen,
Then the message here was missed.
