A winter rose laughing in the face of danger
Hurt and broken with nothing left but courage
Strength and anger all that drives her
As she picks fights with all that cross her way
Tears that she refuse to shed block her sight
As she holds in all her sadness and fright
She is broken she is torn
She is nothing any more
Her soul is blank and dim
The only thing that tells her she's still alive
Is the pain that comes from within
She fights love
She fights hate
She fights emotion
So she can feel nothing
Because feelings only seem to cause her pain
