Setting eyes on hope ahead,
Out in the distance we cannot see,
Journey alone by faith in what he said,
Only in Christ am I set free.
Until the day of eternal life,
Rising far beyond our hopes or dreams,
Nothing compares to my hope in Christ,
Eternal hope overcomes any evil schemes.
Righteous by faith in Christ alone,
In him I can face any of my fears,
Nevermore will I be alone.
Crucified one through whom I have hope,
Here I am I turn to you,
Recognizing I am nothing without your hope,
In you alone do I find what is true.
Sisters and Brothers together we go,
Towards the goal, onward, for our saviour we know.
