Inocent

Contributed by angel_baby_no_more on Tuesday, 9th January 2007 @ 08:26:52 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Inocent as it may seem no one knows what a single tear can bring.
Pain and lies, heart break and cries.
Strength can leak from ones eyes and with it washes out all the lies.
Can one person stop a childs cries when all the child hears is their parents lies, even as they watch from the safety under the bed as their parents bodies hit the ground dead.
So when they are questioned no answer is quite as clear as the one that trickled down their faces and carried with them the image of their parents death and the ones who caused the childrens pain.
Pain that caused the children to never love again.
So as inocent as they may seem no one can guess what one single tear can bring.

Please keep your pen flowing this is a heartfelt write...

May I suggest reading your works aloud...

Wisdom gained from sadness, the loss of 'innocence.'

Peace

A strong poem and truthful one indeed.
Powerful lines and great flow to it.
Exelent job indeed

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
