Snow Alas

The snow alas is falling and has given sheltered grass, a promise to return to us when winter finally past, has given it some nourishment.
It took so long to come this year. The global warming stirring fear. Yet finally as a ray of hope, it shows us who shall rule. Be gentle Mother earth for we be such a fool.
The circle of our life like snow shall tell another tale. Life like all unfallen snow, shall cause us all to pale. Leaving us to wonder so. Where did all lifes grass now go?

That picture, before i saw the signature, looked like a frida kahlo painting to me. Hopefully, by the time i pale, i'll be well into the advanced stages of alzheimer's and unable wonder about anything meaningful anymore. Philosophy is such a cruel sport, and this poem about death is borderline sadistic. Thankfully, the story of the phoenix brought out by your images of grass temper that wicked spirit and calmly set the reader down in an invocation of the afterlife.
