God's Storm

A slowly creeping storm of blowing, howling winds. Where the thunder made no sound Silence grew all around, and the city slowly frowned as the rain began to hit the ground. Silence still remained.
Like a rod the lightning struck Upon the heavens angels sung away with suffering and pain In heaven is where all we belong. Evil spirits go away one more chance for everyone to live in harmony.
Still on earth we all betray lies and deceit, on our shoulder weigh. For our sins, we all will pay.
Forgive me lord I have sinned my prayers will not go ignored this storm will slowly fade I'll no longer be afraid.
