Wishing Flowers

i sit among them
in the spring,
along the fields
of wishing flowers,
running rampantly
through newborn green,
barely noticed,
wishes never made,
unspoken thoughts,
words that do not come,
not picked, nor chosen,
as we wait for someone,
to see who we are,
and find the gifts
that we offer

Lovely poem sunflower .... sad words but true.
