My Final Goodbye

Contributed by MyInspiration on Thursday, 20th February 2003 @ 06:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

My final goodbye has been brought on by your choice. My final words, my final voice. Still thinking what I must have done, or what went wrong. You could have been my heart and soul, my love, my song. The decisions you made, made me write these words. You will never read them, you will never learn.

To learn of who I am, or what I offered. I dont feel resentment, but loss, I lost her. I lost you, but you lost me first. So this is my final embrace, cherish it, because it hurts. It hurts to think of what could have been, but you had your reason, even if they seemed thin.

So here it is, my final goodbye, goodbye to you, goodbye to the past. Goodbye to what we had. For all of it didnt last. Goodbye to you and all the good times we shared, goodbye to it all, and the times I cared. Goodbye to life, as it seems to slip so fast. Good bye to you, goodbyes always seem to end to fast.

Even though it's time to move on, we never really forget the ones who have touched our hearts. I have been there, as you, what a shame. Great write, thanks
