The Price Of Living

Contributed by lostinmyself on Saturday, 13th January 2007 @ 11:38:41 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Sew my mouth shut with blunt needles,
so you cannot hear me screaming,
close your eyes to hide the vision,
of me lying down here bleeding.

Pull this heart out of my chest,
and find a way to keep it beating,
the only way to hurt me now,
Is to help me keep on breathing.

I wonder how to beg for mercy,
But know that you're not even listening,
Just smile as you walk on by,
Don't mind me here, just disappearing.

Pin me, place me in position,
Soon I'll hear, the crowd is cheering,
leave me there to scream and struggle,

..I guess this is the price of living.

A cost and tax we willing pay...

Painfully read:

"...I wonder how to beg for mercy,
But know that you're not even listening,
Just smile as you walk on by,
Don't mind me here, just disappearing..."

May you shine on and on...

I say let no one overshadow your good heart and bright soul... your struggle will yield adoration.

Well Done

Peace
Yang

A painful piece, but very vivid. I know it's tough to pen lines in such spirits, but you do it well.

I hope things brighten soon.

Sweetie ...

*huge sighs*

I am pained so so much by reading this .. I wish there
were something I could do .. say .. anything to ease your
suffering. It's a terrible thing to feel so lost .. not knowing
how to move forward. Even a slight movement backwards
might be welcome at a time such as this. At least for
movement at all, you know?

Whoever said that "time stands still for noone," never went
through deep despair. For when in the throws of pain,
time seems exceedingly slow ..

*hugs you so tight*
-hoping for brighter tomorrows-

~Breezy

Dearest PhillyGirl~
So painfully sad your words pull at my heart strings. I read with a heavy heart. I do wish onto you much brighter tomorrows my dear friend. Your pen writes these sad moments so well. Chin up sweet heart and here's to a year filled with much love, health & happiness.
much love & huge *hugs*

Depressing in its honesty....
Poetry like this should not be forgotten.
It pains me that once of the main page its life is limited.
I hope the future has been kind to you. God bless you!
