They say that love is hard to find
I know that this is true
There are things sought out by a woman in love
And I find these things in you
A woman wants companionship
Along with comfort and joy
You must never use a woman for sex
The human heart is not a toy
A woman wants a trusting man
Who'll believe what she has to say
You must never tell her you are the king
And that she must obey
A woman wants a man who is funny
Who can always make her smile
You must never be with two women at once
Not even for awhile
A woman wants someone understanding
Of every feeling and emotion
You must never depend on someone else
To show her complete devotion
They say that love is hard to find
The things sought out are true
But love also brings many wonderful things
And I see these things in you

Hi Candice,
I think these things are really what guys look for also, (obviously with the woman/Man bits reversed;-) if they were to be totally honest with themselves as well as their future female suitor!
Excellent writing, you have it flowing very well indeed!

Dean, I am glad that you like it. I am sure that most guys want the same thing, but unfortunately most of the guys that I know are complete jerks. Shadow on the other hand is completely different than the other guys I know. I know that he wants pretty much the same things that I do out of life.That is one of the reason I think we are so perfect for eachother.
