I see myself slip off into my own world
And I hope I'm safe
I feel the thought process rusting
And the dust collecting on my mind
So I'll wipe it off
And give up
Leave behind today
See it was full of nothing
And that's worthless
For the most part
When it is no longer a rarity
So I'll sink into sleep
And await those saturating dreams
And this is how I'm thinking
During this short moment of
Forever
I feel it all twist and swirl
Around me
Until I fall away
Left in some nothing
That can be found to hold
So much something
Phone rings
Press pause
And rewind into today
To realize what I'm saying...

You have a feel for internal oxidation how we are changed by simple contact with the elements of life... a theme of rusting, bubbles up, in your work...
