27, now I'm at the age of realisation looking back at my life with thoughts of elation of how I envisioned myself to be with no thought of illusion I feel I'm deceived broken spirit with family adrift no care for my feelings, no time to be sick
For now I am older, I have to believe that somewhere i'll follow the devil beneath temptations they come so easily taking hold of my body, my heart it will grieve feeling lost in my hollow repentive beliefs
That day will come on my way to the sun looking back on my history realising the fun this life which we're given we have to believe we are here for a reason so they'd have you believe
A war mongering people is what we've become putting trust in our brother, those holding the guns without hearing our father, the son of the one
Still, we will believe we are free without caring or knowing of what lies beneath beneath our skin, trouble hidden within
If I believe what I'm told this wont matter to me for now I will listen to what I am told sitting back in my prison and watch the whole world evolve

Wow! Great write. I like the hazy realization style here. Deep and emotional. Good job! |
