Will you call me
When youre bored?
Will you love me
Right now?
Will you care
When I cut my skin?
Will you stop me
From jumping off this bridge?
Im standing on the edge
Waiting for you
Waiting for you to save me
Waiting for you to stop me
Waiting for you to see me
Waiting for you to love me.
Where are you?
Why are you so far?
Why cant you be here?
Why do I want you here?
Why do you matter so much to me?
What have I ever done
To make you think of me?
What have I done?
I am in my own little world
Where you care about me
Where you save me
Where you love me
Where you stop me
Where you dont leave me
Reality has left me
And now Im here
On the bridge
Waiting for you
The hero in my head.

Yes, we all need a hero in our lives. Someone to save us, even if its from ourselves. Good work, the imagery is great.

| Great write ...I feel the emotion .. Feel the questions and sadly feel the loneliness of being needed and wanted...Been there too often, words like this doesnt just get written they are felt. Good Poem, but There is one who will be there always... He promised to never leave us ... :) |
