Absence

Contributed by CuriousitysCat on Monday, 15th January 2007 @ 10:28:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Flying
She sits upon a star
Magikal
She wonders where you are
Running
Through time and space
Falling
Never-ending from grace
Still
Just as my heartbeat
Fleeing
Away from all the heat
Rythmic
Hearing her foot falls
Blocked
Constantly running into walls
Inconsistent
The feelings flee
Impossible
To find life's key
Hiding
Under your covers and in your bed
Rain
Dance as it falls upon your head
Leaving
Mind pulling back
Wrapped
Into itself; sensing attack
Sinking
Into mindless oblivion
Motionless
Upon these covers
Subconscious
She dreams of lost lovers...

The feelings are understood. I like the style you used to write this. The single word lines seem to shout out at me. Good stuff, sis.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Wow, hun...I don't remember you ever sharing this w/ me & might I just say, " Wow!"! I so fully dug this, but I won't mention just how proud I am...it might make me sound like a mum, teehee. Seriously, intense & atmospheric, I loved it!

Great job, Babez!

I too like the effort of your format as a kind of point/counterpoint method.

Ah the dreams of lost lovers (and near misses)

it is an Absence to ponder...

Well Done

Peace
Yang

Beautifully written.
