This Time ( 2nd Time Around )

THIS TIME
( 2ND Time Around )

I thought I would never experience that feeling again, The lightheaded stage the hearthumping.... when .... I met someone "nice" someone "safe" someone "kind" and then ...........
Fell in love .....

This time started slow, not that racing "KA POW"
This time was no hurry, no" I want it now!"
This time will be special, full of truelove and romance
No holey black socks no holes in his Pants!

This time I will sit back, and relax and enjoy
That special romance when a girl meets a boy
What does it matter we are now old and grey
Everyone gets there eventually,....some day

This time we can savour our moments together
The thunder and rain, the hot sunny weather
The birds singing songs from deep within
Let this just blossom and the romance begin

This time I will THINK before I open my mouth
Before I lose it and tell him HEAD SOUTH!
I shall think of him before my self and....
Will always remember to hold loving his hand

This time I shall be sure to give all of me
100 per cent and so remain "WE"
I will listen to everything he has to say
I will stay in one place and not wander away

This time I will never, for granted, take my man
Not that I would, but we ALL know we can ....
I shall love him and treasure him and treat him gently
And thank my God daily for this man he has sent me

I won't grip him like sand, so he won't slip away
I shall cradle him gently, so forever he'll stay
I'll remember the day we very first met
Every kiss, every touch, never forget

For This time I know I have all that I need
This time I know and will happily succeed
This time forever means exactly so
This Time forever is where we'll both go

The reason I type this, is so that you all know
This time is possible so do have a go ...
If the first time didn't happen or didn't survive
Jump up have another go keep ROMANCE alive

Don't sit there and wallow, don't sit there in doubt
Be lively be jolly. scream loud even shout!
Cos if at first you don't succeed ..............who really gives a care?
Try one more time, be brave and bold, search that someone YOUR lifetime to share ......
