Darkness fills my lonely world, its satin cloak around me whirls, no light, no day, no sight, no sound, no way up, only down, my days are dark, my nights the same, I carry on, no one to blame, its very hard to carry on, I tried to leave but got it wrong, I wake each damp and darkened dawn, with only those Ive lost to mourn, through my window the darkness comes, my companion now, no warmth, no sun, in my rooms, out my door, sits emptiness and nothing more, but wait! Whats this? A light I see, a gentle glow shining on me, I Know you light, weve met before, ten years ago maybe more?
Oh light you seem far away, but I feel you getting closer each day, thank you light, you are my friend, there in my darkness with my soul to mend, closer than ever I feel your warmth, Im touching you light, it cannot be, you are shining so brightly shining for me, the darkness has gone I can see the sky, sunlight, trees, birds go by, its me! Look at me!, I am who I was, not dowdy not darkened or crying because; I have my light to brighten my day, youve brought me the daylight and chased the dark away, I love you light, but, whats that you say? Youre leaving me now, your going away; you have to return to the one you belong? Why have you hurt me light?, Ive done nothing wrong, I just want a light to have as my own not borrowed nor stolen or a light thats on loan, its dark again but now with a chill, a horrible emptiness thats making me ill, I hate you light, for what you have done, you brought me the daylight and showed me the sun, you left me with darkness, my only true friend, my companion forever, right to
the end.

wow such a powerful write.. and full of emotions.. very well expressed.. it is like a poem and a short story in one.. i loved the ending great job and welcome to the site.. enjoy your stay.. its quite addicting
