Feel, dont touch
The love is lost
Think, not hard
Of the moment
Give, dont take
And you will own it
Succumb, dont fight
If you taste the sweetness
Awake tonight
Prey on my weakness
Support, dont let go
And you become statuesque
Alone, no more
A prince has found his princess

Embedded in these dilemmas are answers
I get asked lots of question to which I have no reply
So I do, as you, or anyone else would, and I straight out lie
The curtains come crashing
The stage still filled with actors and props
A rope has been snapped
Beams have collapsed
Fixtures of light
Aimed at the dark
Trepidation feeds this anxious body of knowledge
In uneasey nights the trees freeze branches of olives
A peach offering
Barely acknowledged
The white dove
Hovering
The vultures are absolved
I am encouraged
Carry closely your prized possessions
A pick pocketer
Never
Learns his lesson
A calculator
Confirms the addition
Of two extra
Inches of intimidation
Bigger, badder, beyond any expectation

Jyss .. I love the way you laid this out.
The mix-up of emotion .. in dealing with human and
seriously scary moments of our naked selves it is
wise to remember that change is inevitable .. and usually
welcome. When things are bleak, change is desperately
welcome, and when things are euphoric, change helps
to keep from losing that which we crave ..
.. though, none of us have the answers ~
(What was the question again? lol)
