What are these shadows
I see creeping from the corner of my eyes
Shadows of people
Animals and Floating
Leg less forms
Are they from another plane
Are they really the undead
Is this the next level
We have yet to become
Silent dark shadows that wander
Around
Just barely out of sight
Yet there
Then gone
What are these shadows that I see
Are they messengers of what
Do they think I am the only one
That sees them
Others do too
But do not speak about.
Darkness and moonlight plays tricks
But they follow
Just within arms reach
Lurking along
In corners and
Empty spaces where the living
Have let go
Silence roars around them
A cold chilling shiver fills the room
You flee
Thinking
Your wrong
These shadows creeping
Around
Whisper
