falling behind

Contributed by Phantomvampyress on Monday, 22nd January 2007 @ 10:38:00 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Always reaching out
yet grasping at darkness
hoping within. yet again
only to find that dreams are lost
..lost behind the lines

scraping through dusty corners and crevices
nothing there but what used to be
no matter how hard I may try
I tumble down to where I started

so is there a point or a reasoning to get back up
to go through the motions over?

Every time I think I am finally ahead
I fall so far... behind

" lost behind the lines " if i may sugest , try looking between the lines. But wory not any way, an old proverb states, " Some time's one may obtain from afar what another let's slip through there fingers close up. As always, a lovely peice of writting, most enjoyable it was to read.

This read to me like managing ones inner Daylight Savings Time at least twice a year I feel totally like I am falling behind or springing ahead...either way this questions asked:

"...so is there a point or a reasoning to get back up
to go through the motions over?...

Classic Buddhist aphorism:
Fall Down 7 Times Get Up 8

Thank You for Your Talent and Good Heart

Peace
Yang

Always get back up, always strive ahead. starting back were you started isn't always the worst and sometimes it might lead you down a new path that could bring you some much more.

Every time I think I am finally ahead
I fall so far... behind...
