Tic Tock Tic Tock

Contributed by Balmain_Tiger on Tuesday, 23rd January 2007 @ 09:30:30 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

When I sit in solitude
I feel that I can weep
But the noise of a busy crowd
Is often way to steep

Then the pleasure of the sun
Where my skin will burn away
The addiction of the beach
On golden sands to play

The flowers in my garden
A scented rose does bloom
Then darkness surrounds me
And all seems lost in gloom

To chisel away time
The burden of my rock
For every day that passes
Zero ends and starts my clock

I'm not sure if herein are words of optimism, acceptance or despair...

" For every day that passes
Zero ends and starts my clock "

But what I am sure of...is that I enjoyed the flow of the last stanza, w/ or w/o understanding for the writers intent.

BigLove,
~Me

yeah I see that. every day starts the way it ends just like the Bible ashes to to ashes and dust to dust. we are who we are and how we deal with inner adversity makes us the people we become. great work.
