Cold and silent, not much change there, Furrowed brow and greying hair, Still so distant, only emphasised by death, Your life with me seemed waist of breath,
Looking into nothing with the greatest of untruth. Your eyes still tender and brilliant blue, Our time together has come and gone, As fruitfull as a dead birds song,
In truth I loved you, I really did, But you just couldn't, you ran and hid, This side of life got the better of you, You lived without the strength for two,
See, as a child I never did know why, You'd only laugh when I would cry, Terrible words greeted my morning, And then the black and blue warning,
Now, just like you, ebbing from my every vein and bone, The will to carry on alone,
They'll kill me too...The drugs kill them all inside
