Who. Am. I
Its because of you
That I cant look at myself anymore
Cause you walked into my life
And changed everything
You changed me
Constant glares in the mirror make me insecure
Emotions got me strange
Im not suppose to feel this way
Im a tough girl
Im not sensitive
Im not emotional
Im not suppose to cry
But why cant I stop the
Tears from flowing through my eyes
Do you understand?
This is something that I promised to never become
Im afraid this change
And seeming the least bit
vulnerable or even Naive
I wasnt suppose to tell you my story
But emotions were running high
and taking over my body
And you promised me it would be like
lifting the weight off of my shoulders
And in some ways it was
Until the day you left with all my secrets my thoughts
And even my heart
And I had to spin my head twice
To see if this pitiful image in the mirror was right
That this. is my life
This is what Ive become
My heart is so strongly screaming your name
But Im. not. suppose to feel this way
Im like a sad rose
Pushed aside left alone
You told me that you gave up on roses
Because dandelions loved so much easier
But who ever told you love was easy LIED
