I want to thank you.
Thank you for hurting me constantly for two years
For now I am a stronger person because of it
I am beautiful
I am a great person
I do have good character and good judgement
I am intelligent
Intelligent enough to know that you are nothing
You did nothing for me but bring me down
I felt unattractive,unappreciated, ignored, and at times stupid with you.
Now I see the light and I know that I am none of these things,
But so much more
I realize now that being without you is the best thing for me
Now I can focus on my life, my wants, and my needs
Instead of losing myself in yours
For breaking me down enough to make me realize that i need to get back up
Once again I can only forgive you first,
And then THANK YOU

You are a great person and theres no one that can change that not him not me not ne one only you and yet he hurt you you should think him because everything that you have been through with him has only made you a stronger person and gave you lessons to live your life by from here on out. I think this poem is very good and well wrote.

lilbit9494, A bad relationship takes its toll and sometimes it takes a while but the end result is a better person in the end. We learn whats really important and we learn to look inside of people instead of whats on the outside. I am glad you have composed this wonderful poem as it reflects a beautiful person from the inside out with a glowing talent having the ability to write from their heart. I would hope to read more words of poetry from you, because gently touching your readers is what you do.

this is a very uplifting piece.. it sounds like you were in an abusive relationship.. I was there before myself. I am glad to see you got away and over came that.. I love it when someone gets away and sees they are not what those piece of craps think of them so glad to see you rose above and This write is simply magnificant.. great job
