When we started, both in disguise, never saw each others faces, never knew it was all lies. Blissful evenings by candlelight, both hiding from the others sight. Both afraid to be alone, now, our insecurities have grown. Packing bags, saying goodbye, both ashamed we want to cry. It wont do, we cant keep trying, if we cant control our lying. Honey Im home each night Id drone, hed mone, wed smile I dont want to be alone. Each night Id keep my feelings inside, angry, bitter, no longer alive. Each night hed shout and scream and yell until the night, I quote I fell it didnt hurt, it made him cry and then the ever lasting lie. I didnt mean to Im sorry dear dont fret this didnt cause me fear, I took a knife from the kitchen draw and now hes shouting from the floor. And so we pack and leave, we dont look back and we dont grieve, its our burden we have to bare, we never should have brought the house, its obvious that we cant share!
