It's too late to run from the messed up things that I've done How 'bout I turn around and do my best to face them now?
I'm here to say, I apologize for any pain I've ever brought on your life I've been messed up, and on the run now I've grown up and realized all the things I've done Got a good heart, and many tears I've shed but I've hurt so many due to my screwed up head to my family, to all of my freinds I love you even more for staying until the end
Lived a fast life, finally out ran myself gotta give you thanks for all your love and help trying to save myself, just caused me more hurt the men just made it worse, and the drugs never worked I'll never be sane, but I can manage now I have a wonderful life, there's so much I have found I have more love now, than I have ever known I finally stopped my search and realized I'm already home
I think I was trying to take the easy way but I ended up finding out the hard way I had just been searching all along then to stopped to realize I'm just where I belong

A beautiful poem about doing what's right, especially when it's hard for yourself to do it. A very nice look at introspection in the last stanza as well. Keep up the healthy thinking and poetry! |
