Please Don't Take Your Life

Contributed by xXdeadXpoetXx on Saturday, 3rd February 2007 @ 09:03:30 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

i don't know what I'd do without you
i hope that you might know
i've written poems for you
and where did they all go?

please don't even think of
the gun between your lips
you pull the silver trigger
your first gunpowder kiss

please just never leave me
cause you are what i have
the best of the wonderful
the greatest of the bad

i hate when i dont see you
i hate when we don't talk
and in the longest road of life
please don't take a walk

i know that it is hard now
you're 15, thats just life
i know you battle hardships
your parents, girls, and strife

ive felt as bad as you do
but please, just let it drag
if you were not alive now
i cannot bare the lag

the pistol isn't special
it doesn't deserve you
you're wonderful and worth it
i promise this, i do

so now, can you revise it
the story that you wrote
and let the paper lengthen
this poem is my note

so do me just this favor
stay alive and well
please wait for the heaven
that closes up your hell

this is inspirational. it sounds like this person is very special to you. Hold them now in their time of need. Let them know that you are there and everything will work it self out. 15 is a hard age, you go through alot at that time, many changes but let them know that it only gets better from here on out.- teresa
