The moon like a dream The day like a whisper When hearts bean And their light shimmers I leave this body This mortal coil Entering a strange ordinary With solid ground to foil Embracing the unknowable Clashing with realitys retreat Where all gods might is feeble And his angels weep at Lucifers feet Fear what you know And believe in confusion The night falls yet day lingers While intrusion of meaning hinders pace The wind howls, serenading cinders Bringing the scent of life to smite deaths face

i very much so enjoy this style of writing and while I'm not sure i've fully engulfed what you're saying here, you can really get the sensation of getting lost in it as I would expect with ones passing. very interesting take on the subject and it has perhaps inspired me to give it a try |

"...What dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must gives us pause...
...the undiscovered country from who's borne no traveler returns makes us rather bear those we have then to fly to others we know not of." I love the alliteration to Hamlets soliloquy. But I daresay not to your preface as you will be:
"...Bringing the scent of life to smite deaths face."
A power piece to hold up against such moments.
Well Done
Peace
