The friction is born on skin soft and moist You speak words of comfort and ease
Two pairs of tattered shoes rest on the stairs A case of dusty books never read One two many roses, sit on the windowsill My view of you approaching, Obscured, the rain falls still Your knocking hand extends to the doorframe Nothing on, but your raincoat, You smile, and I let you in So begins the game
I crave you, As much as I could get
I have been waiting for you For so long now I forget
I have kept close Your one and final debt
The mattress breathes deep As the white bed-sheets soak up the sweat

Oh my! is it hot in here or is it just this piece?? lol
Jyss .. this was masterfully crafted. And I don't say
that gratuitously .. there have been many poems
that dance around the subject but not with near as
much blurred clarity as this. Wow.
sensually poetic, my friend!
