This Lady Once Known As Mother Earth . . . MHV

Contributed by myheartsvoice on Sunday, 4th February 2007 @ 11:26:55 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

" And disagreement shall reign across

the land, as darkness slowly and most

medthodicaly seeps out of it's corrupted

container once known, as homosapiean.

Leaving a legacy of indelable blood stains.

hidieously embellishing a distorted land

scape, this lady once known,

as mother earth. "

i

know

not any

more and

couldn't care

less, how we humans

took nirvana and created

this mess.

this

loveless

enviorment

that wallows

in dirt,

this

lady

once known,

as mother earth.

the

ultimate

rape a violation

of sort, as though

for ever we'll live.

so nonchelant

we merrily

cavort,

taking more

than we're able

to

give.

and

where

do we go

when it's

all said

and

done

as

we mock

the constitution

while sodimizing the sun.

debating each other for

rediqulious rights as

each day we close

one more door,

while

children

are

dying

fighting

our fights

benificiaries

of our hellish

war.

and

who would

know better than

the lady herself, like

like a book of reference

on a library shelf.

as

we spit

in her face

while

depleting

her worth this

lady once known,

as mother

earth.

very profound

i think half the populis feels this way
the other half is still being born

live in fear or perish

all things end

stars die like sons

plants dry to empty matter

all we can do
is slow down our process of accelerating
the stop

we have to watch instead of using
we have to listen instead of yelling

we have to take our time to grab one person at a time. instead of trying to change uneducated minds.

maybe this will buy our children's children another a day

but as certain is fact
all things come to an end
like viruses and cigarettes

I noticed more than a few misspelled words, but other than that; this piece had a wonderful flow and message. My heart is with yours in your cry for Mother Earth. Thank you for sharing.
Peace,
Laura

Had to run the spell check and compare in case you were taking liberties. I really like the sentiment and thrust of this piece however penned it is heartfelt and in my opinion deserves praise and applause for giving treatment to our Mother Earth.

Please Keep the Pen Flowing.
