You could have saved me
But you didnt
You could have held me
But you wouldnt
You could have stoped me
But you went on
You could have loved me
But now im gone
You could have kiss me
But you turned away
You could have smiled
But you said not today
You could have told me you loved me
But you told me nothing at all
You could have caught my heart
But you let me fall.
Now you ask if I love you?
If I want you forever?
Words I have said to you
So you repeat them, how clever!
You could have stopped me from taking these pills
But you cared more about yourself and what you need
You could have heard my screams
But instead you treated me like a dying breed.
Now I walk all alone
A road that I must stride
How will you feel now?
When you realized that i've died?
Three little words could have saved me
Could have stopped me from what I have to do
Three little words could have kept me alive
But you couldnt even say I LOVE YOU!

| Powerful write indeed... the truth remains that people are ( most of the time ) too blind to see what has to be done, said and appreciated. Thus leading to mistakes, don't break yourself over mistakes you never made... You can't make people change, but you can! |

| I definately agree this is a very powerful poem. I felt the emotion in every line. Its sad how selfish some people are and how careless they can truly be. Dont let those kinda people get the best of you....they arent worth it. Excellent write. |

| this is a great poem....i hope that things go your way..you no....for your heart to heal..it takes time...but remember that god is always with you...he's always there for you...so if you ever need anyone to just break down to....talk to god..it helps! by the way you've got great talent! |
