Little Girl

Contributed by Jen_unknown_to_myself on Monday, 5th February 2007 @ 08:02:33 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Little girl please
Dont cry crimson tears
Im here for you Ill listen

Little girl please
explain why you feel so
much pain

Little girl please let me
help you
Please I care for you

Little girl is all the
damn shrink can say

He tells her false statements
He does not care for
her but for the money he
is being paid

How can she explain
that he is the reason
for her pain

Why she has cried
so many crimson tears

So she sits there and
nods her head as
she stares at the wall

As he makes that Little Girl
remember her worst memories

If he cared like he said
he would allow her to forget
all her crimson tears and
her worst fears

This is so sad! I truly hope this is just a poem and not a personal experience. So often parents resort to medication and therapy with their children, and don't realize that those things actually make worse the pain and rejection their kids are feeling. I really feel for this little girl, and I hope she has moved past these things, and her crimson tears are a thing of the past. Great write!
