Unexpected

Topic: LovePoetry

The afterglow of a night spent in your arms,
Bleed out my eyes like a dream,
Just to be with you once more,
Means more than it may seem.
For untold it does still remain,
It's you that I adore,
But not ready am I to tell you,
For the burning feeling of wanting more.
The beauty in your eyes do I see,
When it's me you gaze upon,
Waking to you asleep around me,
Is something I want you to belong.
Your smile that enchants me,
The seductive look from across the room,
The smell of you in the morning,
I didn't expect to feel this so soon.
Smiling quietly to myself,
In the middle of the day,
You make me feel alive inside,
Even though there's nothing to say.
I am comfortable when I'm in your bed,
Even more so when I'm in your arms,
I love you more each and every day,
Im bewildered by your charm.

Tamara, What a beautiful description of love you have given to us all, a blessing of love you give to us as you gently call. I was initially pulled in by the title and glad it called my name, to read your beautiful poem and see your charming fame. All I can say is this was so beautifully composed and now I ask that you do not ever consider placing your poetic pen down as you would surly be missed and cause so many to frown. Thank you for giving us a bit of you and your wonderful talent Tamara. Excellent poem.
