A broken soul left out in the darkness
Nobody can seem to find it
Even with a bright candle lit
It hides and hides away
Afraid of what the past has done
To it and others the same
Its like some type of running game
With pain and fear detained
No one will ever feel what its like
The same as I do tonight
The farther away I go
The more my soul blows
Out of sight, out of mind
Away I go to find
The misplaced and broken
Soul of mine
That will never be in line

wow this is a very well expressed write.. the worst feeling in the world is one of feeling lost.. this reminds me of some of my older poems.. i really enjoyed this piece alot great expression
