Your big brown eyes looking up
Your tail wagging nonstop
The cute way you played peekaboo
All this we'll never have again
Because someone took you from us
From birth through life
You filled our hearts with joy
Meeting the bus afterschool
Playing catch with a ball
Never a dull minute with you around
Now you're gone never to return
Our hearts are broken
Tears still fall
You will never be forgotten.
